About Us

We believe everyone deserves a voice.

10 Minutes A Day is a disability-led nonprofit. We exist to make civic participation and advocacy more accessible - so that no matter who you are or how much time you have, you can take meaningful action.

Our work is rooted in disability rights, democracy, and the idea that small, consistent steps add up to real change. This page is where we tell you who we are, what we stand for, and why we do it.

Mobilizing Can Be Hard

Many elected officials have been trying to dismantle health care, destroy the social safety net, and harm marginalized communities, especially disabled people. While Americans of all stripes have stood up to resist, it's hard to focus on everything, so some things slip through the cracks. That's where we come in.

We Make It Easier

Just like taking the stairs each day instead of the elevator or drinking water instead of soda, 10 Minutes A Day was founded around the idea that if we all spend just a few minutes each day volunteering, we can collectively create positive change. We work with community organizers, disability & other civil rights advocate & organizations, medical professionals & associations, elected officials, & most importantly, people like you -- to draw attention to critical issues & offer simple, concrete actions that can take in just a few minutes a day. If all of us give just 10 minutes, we can change the world.
